CAT'S CRADLE - IN THE GREENHOUSE

In 1988, the Danish new wave/industrial duo Cat's Cradle released the C90 cassette tape In The Greenhouse. By the end of the 1980s, attention was paid to global warming, called the greenhouse effect then. This is the theme of the album. Due to the greenhouse effect, civilization has collapsed and humans now live in primitive tribes in a tropical world under a roof of glass. During this period, the duo had become interested in sampling, and the entire album is created from sampled sounds and instruments.
Spacecontroller is now releasing this album digitally, and unfortunately the topic is becoming more and more relevant. The material has been digitized from the cassette tape and restored as best as possible.
